Homes, cottages, additions, basements, attics and garages — from new builds to older homes being renovated.
View servicesClosed-cell and open-cell spray foam for homes, farm buildings, commercial and industrial properties — insulation and air sealing in one application, planned around your building and our climate.
The same technology, applied very differently: a basement rim joist, a dairy barn and a steel warehouse each need their own foam type, thickness and preparation.

Closed-cell (medium density, about 2 lb) is rigid, has a higher R-value per inch and resists moisture — the usual choice for basements, rim joists, crawl spaces, exterior walls and metal buildings.
Open-cell (light density, about 0.5 lb) is softer and expands more — used for attic rooflines, interior walls and sound control where moisture exposure is low.
Compare Foam TypesFoam expands into gaps, joints and penetrations, cutting the drafts that make homes and shops hard to heat.
High R-value per inch helps in tight spaces like rim joists, cathedral ceilings and thin-framed walls.
Closed-cell foam on steel and concrete keeps warm, moist air off cold surfaces — a common problem in metal buildings.
Closed-cell foam bonds to the substrate and stiffens the assembly it is applied to.
Open-cell foam in interior walls and ceilings helps reduce sound moving between rooms.
